Academic Appointments
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering has opening in the
following areas:
- "Cryptography and/or Computer System Security"
- "Computer Engineering" with focus in:
- multi-core systems;
- energy efficient architectures;
- bio-related architectures;
Positions are available at the assistant, associate or full professor
level for the 2010-2011 academic year. The Department currently has
around 30 faculty members from leading universities and research
institutions. Significant growth is expected in coming years. A

Applicants should have (i) a relevant PhD degree, (ii) strong
commitment to excellence in research and teaching, and (iii)
outstanding accomplishments and research potential.
Initial appointments will normally be made on a fixed term basis for
up to three years with the prospect of longer-term or tenured
appointment subject to demonstrated performance.
Salaries are highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and
experience. The University offers a comprehensive fringe benefit
package for full time appointments including medical care; a
contract-end gratuity for an appointment of two years or longer; and
housing benefits for eligible appointees. The terms mentioned herein
